Although I have no running experience as yet of this system it is one we will be using in the near future and has given us very good results in the SAP assessment and code scoring.

The build is based on timber framed construction with high levels of insulation within the building fabric and an air leakage figure of 4 or less.

The system comprises of a high efficiency gas boiler, the SolarSmart solar thermal water heating system and the addition of the GasSaver.

The SAP’s are showing a reduction in TER of between 29 & 31% on a mixture of 2, 3 & 4 bed houses and a 2 bed flat with code scores of 5 for the 2 & 3 bed units and 6 on the 4 bed.
